Plot script summary for Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark:
The movie opens with Indiana Jones on the quest to find a golden idol located in South America. Indy Jones locates the golden idol, but the sinister Belloq takes the golden idol from Indiana Jones. Next, the United States Government convinces Indy Jones to search for the Ark of the Covenant to keep it from being recovered by Nazi Germany. Indiana Jones finds the Ark of the Covenant in Egypt, but once again Belloq takes the Ark from Indy Jones. Belloq and the Nazi open the Ark and it destroys the evil villains. The U.S. Government seizes the Ark of the Covenant and hides it away in a clandestine warehouse.
